Just a quick one, obviously decent 106 leathers seem to be few and far between now days, mostly good condition other than the drivers seat.

I was wondering whether you can convert a passenger seat into a drivers seat? Is it just a case of swapping over the subframes? If so how easy is that? My drivers seat is battered so rather than buy another foul set I'd rather try and pick up a passenger seat and convert it!

Cheers.

Can't swap the sub frame, you can however swap the bottom cushion really easy, just flip it over and pop open the hog rungs.

As for the back rest it's pick the stitching out so no easy task. A good upholsterer could do it no bother.

That's a shame, the back is twisted and no one seems to want to sell just the front drivers or front pair!

I was looking for a gti interior a few year ago stumbled across a full leather retrim vts interior it's been in the car since then and shows no signs of ware at all better off having a look for something like that imo!

There was a full leather set the other day but it was cream with red stitching. Wouldn't mind a full leather set they'd just have to be the right colour etc.

Yeah mines in black leather the only other thing I can think is price up the drivers seat to be redone.

The drivers seat is sort of twisted, just doesn't sit right, although the frame lines up fine.
