How many left? Phase 1 White VTS content

Just a quick question does anyone know how many phase 1 VTS' are still about?

I've just bought a White Phase 1 and wonder how rare they are?

Lovely thank you.not many left as it says 720 but I guess that includes mk2's

Never come across white Mk1's.

Very few Mk1 VTS left now. if there genuinely is 700 total VTS left then I'd be willing to bet that less than 200 of those will be Mk1

Yeah I'd agree as I can't recall the last time I saw a mk1 VTS on the roads

I know when I was in the saxo game me and a couple of mates made 2 mk1 cars out of mk2's and painted them up in white and red but other than the white one we did I haven't seen another

Well let's face it, they must get their information from the DVLA & anything that relies on that place for correct records is never going to be right, mind you I suppose it could be worse they could have to rely on HMRC.

There is a white mk1 vts in the garage across the road from where I work, it's been having a roll cage fitted for the last 2 months, shame really as it looks pretty standard bar that it's not even lowered

How much money have you got in it if you don't mind me asking? I'm thinking a lot but a turbo vts would be the boy considering the weight of them and how rare there getting.

I dont tend to count if I'm being honest. It's not such the money which is the bad part it's making it all fit together so it looks like a proper job. It does take some patience and will power to do it right, unless your loaded and get somebody else to do it for you.

The option of going down the cituning turbo kit will be the best bet, however they aren't the best qaulity in my opinion after owning one of the manifolds and it cracked all over the place after giving it some death.

I'll be Upto about £3000 at the stage I'm at now and still need management, lsd, and various other minor parts like hose clips and a header tank and catch tank .

Still nice to have and it looks like a professional job from the pics! I've have my vts parked in my dads garage just past a test after it past I put it on the road for a month it just seemed slow it's got a few mods mani saxsport remap running 135bhp what type of power will yours run?

We are all rather car orientated around where I live but nobody has a turbocharged saxo, hence why I decided on this one. Considering I've done all the work myself I haven't done too bad I hope .

I've had a 106gti and a saxo vts in the past and both have been worlds apart in power wise, one would Rev and pull great in all gears whilst the gti would struggle to pull at higher speed. How many miles is yours on ?

And I'm aiming for 300 but I think I'll be happy with anything over 250 I guess, until I get greedy and turn things up haha

Mines on 82000 with full service history but I've had it since I was 18 when it had 20000 miles on it and it's had a hard enough life to be fair! My daily was a leon cupra r with a turbo back runing 1.3bar (unsure on bhp) but going back to the saxo was hard work so I bought something else!

250bhp In a saxo with lsd will fly to be fair I do t think you need to turn it up I like the originality of a turbo sax coupled with a rare colour in a phase one it only going to become something sought after in the future.

I could do with getting some pics of mine up but I ain't got none lol

Whilst I agree with turbo charging,I think that when you have an unmolested mk1 vts in a rare colour,it'll be worth more in standard form in years to come.

That's my plan.very few 100% standard ones about do im planning on a light restoration of mine to keep it at its best

I found a mk2 for sale and snatched it! Spent a year rebuilding it in my garage :)
