So I've got myself a new toy... Honda CBR400, 1988 NC23, these bikes are getting scarce, I had this one of my brother who had owned it for 12 years, 10 years of which it spent in his garage.
Just serviced the bike, but I have used iridium plugs and the bike seems to tick over a lot nicer. I have also fitted new air filter, oil, filter etc.
Bike is already fitted with an ART carbon exhaust can.
long term - bike will be striped next winter, check all parts (fix or replace where needs be), clean it all up as goes back together, frame and swing arm will have a freshen up too.
I want to keep the looks of the bike as standard as possible, so possible respray on the cards to factory paint scheme, but suspension etc will be uprated, nitron rear shock, uprated front fork springs, new oils, seals and bearings.
Quick pic of the bike as to how it stands now, not in to bad of nic for a 28 year old bike.
