Hi there new to the site so excuse me if I'm
Posting in the wrong place. Brought a mk2 vtr recently and it's had a new axle fitted in the last couple of years but I noticed when i got home that the rear drivers side wheel leans in just wondered if anyone can point me in the right direction of what the problem is.

probably the axle unfortunately.. jacking it up and checking for any play in the wheel back and forth towards the car is a good place to start although they aren't always loose, any dodgy noises coming from the rear end?

Iv only drove it prob 2 miles since Iv got it so I can't say there is any funny noises but Iv got a 8 mile drive to work each way so I'll have a listen in the morning. What should I be listening for? Did a little searching on the net and read somewhere it could be a bearing or wheel alignment? It's only on the drivers side of that makes any diffence?

The wheel is definitely leaning in at the top? It's off putting due to the shape of the car.
simply stick it on and see what the alignment figures are like, they're non adjustable.

Yeah I had a look round the car earlier and I noticed that drivers side was leaning in slightly compared to the other side. There's a garage where I work so I might get them to give her a look over tomorrow. So if it is the alignment what can I do about it?

You can't, alignment at the rear is fixed. it's not adjustable.
If there's play you need your axle rebuilt or replaced with a reconditioned one.
