I may be going to collect a rear beam/axle for my vtr only it's from a private breaker what are the ways to check trailing arms with axle being on car thanx in advance any info much appreciated

remove dampers so its not under tension then try to wiggle arms --any movement at all --its done--cos you wont, ge much leverage if axle is just sat on floor with no wheels on it

Hi just wondering if anyone else has attempted replacing the rea trailing bushes/bearings with engineered bronze bushes?

Sure,these do not damage the shaft as the original might do and they add more rigidity to the axle,they can be a little noisy compared to the original ones and they do require grease nipples to be fitted to keep everything well greased.
