strange sound

ive had my car lowered anyway sorted out the knocking had new upper bearing fitted so the knocking when i turn to full lock is gone so thats great but i still have a sound sort of rubbing sound cuming from the driver side wheel but this sound goes when i have my foot on the accelerator its really wierd i thought it would went when i had bearing changed

anyone have any ideas what could be causing it or have had a simular problem??

how low and what size wheels

they are 195/45/15 and is lowered 40mm so i cant see how they would be rubbing and surely it would be rubbing all time and not stop when i accelerate
