Looking at a quick shift kit for my Saxo vtr. Have seen a few products on eBay like the linkages but have also seen a bearing like mount as well. Wondering how hard it is to fit
Thanks

If you do a search you'll find a fitting guide on here. I was looking at this myself funnily enough and stumbled on it.

Hi Byron, there's a kit on kam racings website if you want to look on there, it's actually really easy to do when you have a linkage diagram in front of you, there's a guide on the stickies called how to completely remove gear stick play which has a diagram at start of thread, I'm Gunna be getting a new quicks gift ball joint and linkages from kam racing soon so will put a how to on here for you when I fit it if you like mate?

I'd be interested in that, I have new linkages ready to go on, may as well fit a quickshift.

There's not really any point in doing a guide to fit the uprated gear linkages, when you're under the car you can see all 3 of them and it's simply a case of popping the old ones off and replacing with the new ones.
There's a bakerBM style quickshift which, it goes in the engine bay on the gear lever rod below the inlet manifold, this would be best fitted at the same time as youre doing the linkages.

You can see the old crusty OEM gear linkages in this picture too.
I've both fitted and it's a lot better than standard. Make sure and grease up the cups in your new rods btw or it will feel a little clunky.
