2016 has started interestingly. Due to how Supersprint have decided to sell their products in the UK, we've had to rethink what we do exhaust wise for the Saxo.

We've chosen to fully bring back the KAM Racing exhaust systems (http://www.kamracing.co.uk/car-tuning/citroen/citroen-saxo/intake-exhaust/kam-racing-kam-racing-race-exhaust-system.html) under our new Grams Product Range. I've redesigned the centre pipes a little to make it easier to ship and managed to shave a little weight of the whole system.
This means the new Grams race exhaust (http://www.kamracing.co.uk/car-tuning/citroen/citroen-saxo/intake-exhaust/kam-racing-kam-racing-race-exhaust-system.html) is only 7.55kg!

The race exhaust system still has the best flow of any off the shelf system to keep gas speed high and get as much exhaust scavenging as possible.

It gets a little better. We've had a bit of feedback regarding tailpipes and have added a 3" version of the system for those wanting a more meaty tailpipe.

Saw these earlier when browsing. If I don't get on with the Saxsport, I'll be sure to give these a try.

What do other stainless systems generally weigh?

The pugsport weights 3kg more than this design - 2" pugsport vs 2.25 Grams tailpipe

The weight is one of those things that if you look at each part you are fitting, you can trim off weight and get an edge over a rival driver who does not consider it. If you compare a set of AST Coilovers (http://www.kamracing.co.uk/car-tuning/citroen/citroen-saxo/suspension.html?product_category_sub=4326) compared to TA-technix the weight is significant. Thats the benefit of lighterweight alloys instead of iron, 2-piece discs instead of solid...a lightweight car means you go faster and slow faster and its less stress on all the cars components..
With the Grams exhaust we are the lightest but still with the best fitment on a saxo exhaust :D

Would the middle pipes fit straight onto Magnex backbox on mk2 vts??

If the magnex will fit to a standard centre pipe then yes. I have a feeling its a sleeve fitment designed only to fit to the Magnex centre pipe.

Design changes might have changed the sound slightly

The new design changes wont have changed the sound as I've not altered the backbox sizing. If you buy the larger 3" though it will have a deeper tone to it...

Looks like a nice bit of kit :)

Makes me curious as to how it compares weight wise with my custom system - guessing this one will be a bit lighter.

Did I imagine a debate somewhere suggesting Saxo's perform better with a middle box? I run without one also, but in my head I seem to remember a discussion suggesting that?

They perform fine without it. The free flowing exhaust pushes the peak power a tiny bit higher but you dont really want to tune an exhaust system for performance at low revs as you strangle performance higher up the rev range

3" is looking good mate, 2 1/2" is a little too raspy on mine thinking about changing over to 3" :y:
