Saxo Forte 1.1 Fuel Pump Help please

Hi all,

Can anyone help please, my 2003 Saxo Forte 1.1 fuel pump is on it's way out (breakdown guy advised when it wouldn't start and me and my friend were stranded at seaside :sad:).

My son is going to fit a new/replacement when I get one... but I'm confused as to which one I need as some say 'in tank' and some don't. Please can anyone help?

All standard saxo fuel pumps are fitted in the fuel tank.

Aaargh - so we bought a pump from breakers yard, son fitted it, but still firing up and not starting... son said the fuel dial was moving back and forth - had 1/4 tank fuel, so not empty... any ideas on what he's done wrong please?? :wall: Thanks in advance!! x

Ah it's ok, the one he got from the scrappy was a dud!! Only my son could pick a dud one out of all the Saxo's that were there!! ��
