Apparently you need a press tiger them in and out.

grind a nice sharp edge on a long bolt or dress your punch up, surprisingly i was doing this last night the bearing in one arm did come out alot easier than the other. you having the problem with the lip on the races just bending over leaving you with piss all to hit against? this did happen to me abit angle your drift diagonally down the hole it helps stop the drift just sliding past the bearing

All done thank you,I simply used one of the grease nipple holes I'm fitting (I want to try and use these bronze bearings) to make a small groove so that a flat screwdriver could grip on it,then after that they all came out quite easily.
