Vts pas pump

I need a PAS Pump for a 1997 1.6 VTS Saxo. I've been offered one from a
2001 1.5 diesel Saxo. They look the exact same but the part numbers are different. Would this matter/be ok to fit?

Its definately the pump as well. I ran a direct 12v feed to it and its completely dead.

Yup all saxo and 106 pumps are interchangeable mate.
