Right.. My saxo had a little ding in the rear, it done all my bootlid in smashed rear lights, I set about getting a new boot and rear lights but once refitting the boot lid I realised one of the two hinges at he top has bent so the boot sits a bit wonky, I've thought about bashing it with a hammer but I don't want to cause further damage, but I can't really think of any way to get it sitting back flush without having it cut out and re wielding (if this could even be done) any help or ideas would be appreiceated, cheers

Bring it to a bodyshop, they can tack weld washers in to the dent/crease and pull it back out with a slidehammer. Well, that's one way I've seen it done in the past.

I have taken it to a body shop mate, they quoted me 150 to sort out the lower bit were the lock mechanism sits but I didn't mention the hinge at this time because I assumed I lined the boot up wrong, then when I fiddled about with It i realised it was bent, the car was only cheap so I don't really want to spend loads of money on it, so for the sake a 150 quid I'd rather the boot sat wonky lol just hoping for a cheaper easier fix

As said above, block of wood of various sizes and a rubber hammer. Or if you have a cheapo welder, tack a few washers on yourself and have a go at pulling it. It's hard to give help without actually seeing it, not that I know much about bodywork.
