Hi all, not really a normal question but wondered if anyone could help me out, basically I'm working on my saxo and I have disconnected the rear brake lines and calipers and the car has no fuel tank on it at the moment (i'm working on the underside cleaning up rust etc) problem is I wan't to move the car but obviously at the moment its got no brakes or handbrake.

I'm wondering if there is a way I can cap off the rear lines so I just have the front brakes in use so I can use the brakes when the car is being rolled around to stop it rolling off down a hill or something! obviously I will be putting the rear brake assembly and everything back eventually but I haven't finished doing what i'm doing with it yet so don't want to fully re-assemble it.

Could the lines be capped off at the master cylinder and just leave the front brakes working?

If you knew which lines were the rears you could do it at the master, otherwise i'd just clamp the rear flexies! If they're not fitted see about getting something to screw onto thr line to cap them off. Given its just not on the road i cant see it being an issue

Rear flexies are no longer on the car I've disconnected the lines on the underside of the car where they join roughly underneath the passenger seat. Should be able to figure out which lines run to the master cylinder, is there some kinda screw in caps I could get so I could just undo the lines at and put 2 caps in instead of the brake lines?
