Helped needed for engine conversion

Hi I'm wanting to do a conversion on a mk1 pug 106 1.1, I've decided the easier option is for a vtr engine swap I'm just wondering which engine would be best mk1-2 and everything I'd need to do the conversion.

Am I right in thinking I need the engine, ecu, loom and ignition barrel?? Is there anything else??

It's a single plug ecu on the car at current

Single plug unlocked ecu, single plug engine, single plug wiring loom and that's the essentials there to have it running
