Hi im hoping someone on hear can help, ive just brought a new sony stereo for my saxo and would like to wire it up to stay on when the ignition is off. I managed to do this with the previous stereo by swapping the red and yellow wire over. Ive tried this with the new one but to no avail. The yellow wire has a double spade connection if thats any help.
Thanks in advance

use a multimeter and identify the permanent power, connect that to the ignition power in lead as well. Done.

Ok thank you, there is only 2 - a red one and a yellow one. Should there be any others?

look at the fusebox, there is likely a fuse you can move to an alternative slot to give permanent live.
