Engine starter & alternator change

Hi everyone!

I need to service engine starter and alternator. But I got idea that i could change them and reduce some weight. Is it possible to get lightest version of starter and alternator from other PSA car? Actually starter weight near 8 kg, alternator - 5kg.

Car - Saxo VTS '02 NFT 98 bhp

All saxo alternators and starters are pretty much the same weight ,pretty sure the same goes with fitting an AX starter or alternator too.

Once I've heard that Valeo VS729 starter weight around 5 kg, but I can't confirm that info.
