Watt mean sod all when it comes to amp wiring I wish companys whould not advertise them in watts rating.

What does matter is the length of the power cable and the size of the fuse in the amp your using.

From this I can tell you if your cable is sutible or not.

im an electrician and daveward is also close but no cigar, wiring amps the cable length does come into it for volt drop however on a typical car run length shudnt really matter, the fuse size does matter as this should be your weakest part of the circuit so that if anything goes wrong the fuse goes first, however the size of the cable (thickness is what really matters)

however daveward im with you i wish these companys would advertise it in watts its just stupid!

4awg/10mm cable or up should be ok for 2 of those amps shouldnt it?

Four gauge will be fine.

Just run it to a fused distribution block with 2x 8 gauge ouputs. In the Fuse block put the same size fuses as are in the amps and under the bonnet put a fuse thats the total of the 2 in the fuse block.

argylefan1985p: Cable length does come in to the equation as the cable length affects how much current can be carried. Rememer how a fuse works a power cable is the same too much current down a thin cable will burn the cable out! Which can turn your car in to a free BBQ. I have seen it done before.
