Hi i used to be part of sax-p about ten years ago sadly i lost my saxo vts in a track fire had to walk away from it empty handed and at that time left the saxo scene but many moons on iv decided to purchase another saxo vts and enjoy that cheap tuner fun once again...... or im having a mid life crisis haha :P

Cheers yes mate so gutted littrally spent so much on that car and to watch it all burn on the track infront of thousands at french car show was quite crap lol. worse thing is my mates found the video on youtube months later and tagged me in it lol. Sadly just before i went to the show my gearbox blew up so had a garage put a new one in. sadly they put the gaskets in wrong and on the track it blew a gasket and dropped gearbox oil all over a stainless steel exhaust. Sadly couldnt shout at them due to it been a fireball on a track not road couldnt even claim had to take the hit. I moved away from saxos and recentlystarted missing my old one so much so here goes again round 2. So far rust free wont be long tho haha.

That is some seriously bad luck! Is it just guesswork though about the gaskets being put in wrong?

Proper nightmare having your car written off on track without trackday insurance. Did you then have to pay any costs for getting it remove/damage to the track?
