ok so i viewed a vts on the 2/01/2017...
the clutch had no bite till you was pretty much off the pedal,
breaks were spongey,
there was an oil leak from the head gasket
hand break had a lot of travel in it
tracking was out of alignment
rear bumper had a crack in it
on the rear driverside quater panel (just below the window there was a bodge paint job done)
possible rust patch on inside of rear left part of the boot(where the arch would be it felt all soft)
there was also some damage to the front bumper it was a mk 2...

how much do you guys recon it would cost to get all of these issues fixed? they was asking for £1395.... and the car has only 61k on the clock apparently

Good grief! That is a bit of a list and with the rust and bodged paint you've mentioned it's good you walked! Oil leak may have been cam covers/cam ladder but even still that's not great for that price!

As above, you can get cars with similar problems to sort for a lot less!
