Bought the car from a main dealer Tuesday and drove it home 20 miles or so with no problems. Tried starting it the next day but engine turns over quite strong but does not fire.
The Fuel pump can be heard priming and its relay under ECU does click.
The immobiliser key icon comes on for a second or so when you first switch the ignition and I believe that is normal.
There is petrol in the car and the starter turns the engine over fine.
The car drove 20 miles without any hint of clogged fuel filter so cannot be a clogged fuel filter all of a sudden.
I have had the codes checked with diagnostic tool but none have come up.
Would not a failed crank sensor show up?
