as above really

have a set of hi spec ultra lite calipers with (ford 258 discs machined hub centers )

also have 406 brembos with gti6 discs

what would you run , I know the brembos will have more stopping power but weigh twice as much ....

both would be on same pads , mintex 1155's or something like ....

track toy and maybe some local time attack work if I build in time

cheers

Id prob go for the lighter ones. Stripped Saxos and 106s dont really weigh enough to necessitate something as big as the 406 Brembos imo, even the 206 266mm ones are plenty to stop the car with good pads.

But Hi Spec's are nothing like as stiff so you'll have a crap pedal. You'd be better off with stock sliding calipers.

AP Racing, Brembo and Alcon make good calipers. Anything else is chocolate.

Funny enough I do have a 266 (from 306 hdi ) set up floating about to

Might make for an interesting day at the track

Back to back test with same pads .......
