hi all just joined the fourm as i bought my self a saxo vts project as it needs loads off work and if i need to know answers this prob be the best place
welding needs raised as its been slammed just fixed properly
i payed 460 which i thought was pretty steap but how cheap can u get a vts for are they getting harder to get cheap ones
also which seats are better vtr/vts
al get some pics up tomorrow

The price is very much relative to the condition of the car.
If its a good solid rust free shell (unlikely) then £460 is a bargain.
If its full of rot (every chance) then £460 is probably on the steep side.
Give it a good check over in all the usual places before you decide whether its worth pumping money in to.
Check under the ECU and fuse box in the engine bay for rusty inner wings.
Check the boot floor and chassis where the rear towing eye attaches.
Check the sills, particularly in the harder to spot areas which are hidden behind the side skirts.

Most of them will likely need welding somewhere, rust is the main issue with them in my opinion, everything else is pretty "easy" to fix and parts are cheap enough. I think 460 is reasonable if its not a total rot box, a vts would likely part out for that much if it came to the worst so I don't think you'd lose out.
