Hi I'm new here. And pretty new to saxo's. Ive got an 03 mk2 VTR. As it stands all I have done is K'n'N cold feed and a de-cat straight through exhaust. I'm planning on putting a turbo on the old girl. I will be building all inlet, exhaust manifolds myself so wouldn't I really need to install a oil filter conversion? Or is it mainly down to heat built up around the plastic housing? 🤔🤔🤔

Regardless of what manifold you make yourself etc the oil filter housing will always get in the way there is no way you will fit a turbo on with the oil filter housing there

Ok cool. Just trying to keep costs down. Can you recommend anywhere to get one?

Citroen have stopped making them but there are dealerships dotted around the uk that still have the adaptor in stock give your local Peugeot or Citroen dealership a call they might be able to help you

I have 2 kits but if I'm being honest they will cost you a pretty penny because as said above they're like gold dust.

you only need that 37mm threaded tube if you use the early bolt and the heat exchanger, if you screw the filter direct or use an aftermarket takeoff you can use the shorter 27mm insert tube which is readily available for a few quid.
