So...
I bought my green Citroen Saxo 1.1 desire on an '03 plate as a second car runabout and something for my daughter to use to learn to drive, or that was the plan. Since collecting this little green roller skate I keep finding reasons/excuses to drive it - its simple (basic?) interior and nippy engine are great, It even put a big smile on my face as I drove to work this morning, listening to 'Club Hits 2003' on the C.D.
It needs work as it's got a noisy C.V joint and the brakes are a little 'squishy' - I reckon I'll also swap the timing belt whilst I've got it in bits but that's the joy of old car ownership isn't it?

LOL. Enjoy it whilst it hasn't rotted away.
The club hits 2003 did make me chorkle.

I've bought a low miles fairly rot free 1.5d for £150 :homme:

I bought myself a 45bhp 1.1 106 s1 and I love its simplicity and always puts a little smile on my face as well!

Haynes manual arrived today and I've been reading it in the downstairs office (the one with the porcelain chair and cistern back-rest). I've also bought an after-market central locking kit and some reversing sensors so that's my pocket money and Saturday taken care of (still better than talking to the wife though...)
