Alternator not charging battery

Hi all, having a problem with my Saxo VTR where the alternator isn't charging the battery. I've replaced the battery and alternator with new ones to no avail, also note that charging the battery doesn't have a parasitic drain as it has held its last charge for a while now.

Any info would be greatly appreciated, cheers.

Stick a multimeter on the charging post of the alt and then at the battery, see if theres a noticable difference.

Is the exciter cable ok? As welshpug says, is the dash battery/charging light working

Battery light working and on, I'll test that with the multimeter and get back to you
