Hi,
I am looking for a BE4 box to fix my TU5JP4 16v block.
I read in the forums that a Picasso 1.6, 8V Petrol - 2000/2004 is a good option but they are thin on the ground in 2020.
What are my other options? just to widen the search.
I read about 307's, Partners and Berlingo's but not sure of the exact models.
Thank you for any help :)

any of the aforementioned with a TU5, beware that early ones will have an MA.
doesn't matter which you get, just make sure you get the matching intermediate driveshaft bearing carrier as I think the diff angle might be different between some vehicles as there are different part numbers for the bellhousing and carrier.
one of the best gearsets to use is a 206 gti as it'll go straight in that casing, use the final drive with the TU-BE box if its a 4.5 or 4.25.

Thank you very much for your reply.
I think I have found a box.
It is from a 2004 Picasso 1.6, 8V petrol.
Also got the bearing carrier as part of the deal.
I have a Quaife BE gearset and PTS lsd that I want to put in the casing.
At the moment they are in a Cup BE3 and its horrible with the long drive shaft causing torque steer.
I have also been reading about the BE input shaft shim for rebuild.
Is Spooks Mototsport the best place to get them?
They have 0.5mm or 1mm options.
Thank you once again for your help.

Peugeot is the best place for shims, or a gearbox specialist, Miles at Pugracing may be able to help as he builds a lot of gearboxes over the years, I have a shim kit as I've built a few boxes too.
The shims are more like 1.5 to 2mm or even more but in very small increments, though I've found that more often than not you use the original shim for the casing or input shaft, rarely is there much variation.
