600BHP Evo XI RS !

Just been out for a spin tonight in this monster.

waiting for petrol earlier on and heard this ridiculously loud evo coming from behind... guy was waiting next to me, noticed my jaw on the floor and just chatting while we were waiting...

guy is in his 40's, and had his son in the car with him, just back from todays race...

told me about the events he does and stuff, and that he's doing the harewood hill climb tommorow, that i would really enjoy it since i'm into my cars.

He took me for a quick spin in it and i totally shit myself... never been so quick :|

0-60 is about 3 seconds (with a broken gearbox) and the way it shifts is just incredible. All the work was done by R-Tec, and apparently it's limited edition or something, i have no idea about Evo's (other than i want one)

Apparently his GT3 doesn't even come close to this thing !!! Anyway.. a couple of pics off my phone, and hopefully will get some proper ones tommorow from the race !

the FQ400 is supposed to do it in 3.5 mate, so it's not unrealistic at all. It has a "dog box" (whatever that is) and it did 60 in 1st, lol.

I agree 3secs is extreme, the norris design evo does it in just under 3secs so i very much doubt that does.

Don't think R-tec did the work, the sticker on the spoiler is RC Developments and the if they've had a fettle with the car then the 0-60 time is very plausable.

i'm pretty sure he said it was r-tec... RC is the type of car, he said it was a US spec evo, a bit less mental than jap spec (as standard) because they are banned in america :)

RC developments sounds more like the company behind those mental evo's as R-Tec are mainly to do with rolling arches for big wheels etc, not very specialised in engine work.

Nope r-tec put big wheels and bodykits on cars, RC Developments which that sticker is on the spoiler are based in Warrington and are Evo Gods on a par with Norris Designs. Their demo car had over 800bhp.

Anyways, stonking car.

Mental, Im down with it being as fast as he says to 60. Ariel atoms do it in 3 ish and they only have 300 bhp and they dont weigh half of that evo. So in my book it is quick.
