Apologies if these have already been seen but there new to me so I thought i'd share it with you lot.

They seem to have toned it down abit from the original concept pics but I'm hoping the Type RR is going to be a full blown monster.

I'd still buy one though I'm just a few pennies short of the asking price.

how many tests have you had? as youve been learning for 4 years...

i like it, think it looks smart, still dont like the back ends of them tho they just look odd

Whats asking price now? Has it changed, or is it still the same ?

Looking at that pic I would rather have the older version CTR.

How the hell are you getting quotes for a car that not out with no licence, nevermind the £1300 a year quote?

Theyve got rid of the best bit imo the rims. Which is a shame. But hopefully as said the RR will be better. And the spoiler looks gay. still overall very sexy dont get me wrong but its not the same as the concept was

Looks nice, i would have the yelllow version ;) lol

Like the little stubby gear knob, not found of the lights at all and apprtnly its a little slower on the 0-60 than the older model!

Think they have gone more for style than speed on this one

Seeing it again i think 18's may be a better option, with low profiles, and then it can be lower. Because that looks really high. Still stunning tho

New type R looks well smart. Pity the production model is coming with smaller wheels. :homme: Toned down a touch from the prototype, should be a flyer anyway

ets2k9
18th September 2006, 08:30
You also get a flashing light which tells you the Vtec has kicked in which seems abit strange as its quite obvious when it kicks in.

these are the pics i seen of the type r. looks awesome with the tints and smoked lights and anthracite wheels etc with the yellow. the performance stats are rumoured to be the same as the last type r. so 197bhp standard = fookin rapid motor with looks to kill in my opinion.
has anyone sat inside the new civic's? stunning is the only word

sat in one at the showing they had when they first came out and the dash is all black and it bends around you. when you start the car all the dials appear in front of you, state of the art stuff.

love it

I think ill wait a bit before buying one now ...

Certi
18th September 2006, 12:27
It looks alright, I definetly preferred the concept with the 20" wheels though :P. If I remember rightly the price is around £16.5/17K.

If I was getting one I'd have it in white

ets2k9
18th September 2006, 14:19
The seats aren't a great deal different to the current ones but I agree they a damn nice I was trying to get a pair for the Saxo when it was in its stripped out stage.
