the other day me and a mate drove to tescos to pick up some bits went to come home and the steering was all funny hard to steer so got back to his and had a look and the tracking rod on the end of the steering ram had worn a hole in the steering fluid pipe and was pissing fluid every where !!!! not good . then i had to drive home in it . has this happend to any one before ? and if so did you have to buy a new pump etc cheers nick

if its just a pipe gone mate u wunt need a new pump, just chage the pipe but u may have to bleed ur system, but im not sure if its self bleedin

this happened to me about a 3 months ago shortly after i had my car lowered. i took it back to the garage that lowered my car and they said my pipe had wobbled lose thus causing the failure of the steering. it all got fixed free of charge but i think it may have been caused due to not moving the pipe out of the way properly.
