I've got a blue MK2 Furio and i bought some rear lexus lights when i first got the car (which was when lexus lights were the 'in' thing). To me, they are getting boring and everyone has them and i want something different..

What would you recommend me get?
They are for a MK2..

Thanks people :)

I'd let you try them before you bought them as you are not to far from me (I am in Stoney Stratford, just outside of MK)

Just a quick thought.. will both these lights pass the M.O.T?

CampDavid
19th September 2006, 13:42
I only had them on for one MOT, actually, I just put the standards back on, so I don't know

Adamski
19th September 2006, 13:43
i think you might push it with the mot on mine if im honest, i never bothered risking it and just put standards back on as it only takes 5minutes.

everything still shines through fine and the colours are ok (although the reverse has a slight blue tinge:P) i was never pulled by the police for them either in the whole time they were on the car. the reflectors still worked when photographed to.....

I suppose it doesn't take too long to change them over..

CampDavid
19th September 2006, 13:45
yeah, there is no point in risking it for no reason. I would honestly say that Adam's will look better, the bottoms of mine are done in a very dark red which I think would look wrong on a blue car, up to you though

Recovery
19th September 2006, 13:48
Yeah i agree with you there..
Adam said he would try and fish out some more pictures for me.. so ill put the picture that SunderZ kindly made for me with your black lights on, up against one of the pictures that Adam may find.. then make a decision :P

Adamski
19th September 2006, 13:49
yeh as dave said no point risking it, prob the quickest and easiest job on a saxo changing the lights, dont need any silly shaped screwdrivers:P

Yep, you can un-do the plastic black bungs on the inside of the boot with your hands :)
