jsut gonna give me car a little once over before a long drive at the weekend, gonna wash it with turtlewas wash n wax shampoo or something was pretty good last time i used it (still quiet shiny) then gonna use smoe turtle wax nano tec wax or something, i tried a small amount of this last time but as i hadnt done it before just wanted to leave it n check it was right,

felt weired applyin it with a meguirars pad as it felt like the pad was ruff n actually gonna put swirls in your car, you i scrub the wax in hard or just give it a few run downs (says leave it to a haze then ouff off) work on another pannel then buff off, anyways what should i be buffing it off with ? i need something tonite so probably going to a motorfactors or halfords, what kinda of towel dio i use nothing stupid like £30 ultimate xx towel just a good towel to buff off with, cheers guys

just use a 100% cotton scrim or sometihng like that should do the trick, the proper towels are good though

you need decent microfibre towels, otherwise you will put swirls and marring into your paintwork, avoid the tesco/costco etc ones as they will do just that, a good test is to run them over the back of a CD, if they scratch the cd they will do the same to your paint. If your wanting something tonight then get a couple of Meguiars MF's, the Poorboys ones are cheaper though if you plan on getting any more in the future...

the meguiars pads wont swirl your paint if you dont scrub the wax into the paintwork, its a wax, it protects, it has no abrasives so there's no point working it in, just make sure you leave a nice thin application, putting it on thick just makes it harder to buff off and is a waste of product :)

hope that helps :)

I prefer the poorboys ones myself, they're cheaper and better quality, they last longer too :afro:
