Job centers can do thaaaaa otherwise ask around where youd like to be heading

why dont ya try goin to the job center or to connexions and ask they usually help you out

Being able to spell the word would help :)
Best bet is a local college then calling around the local companies that your apprenticeship is to do with ... i.e - Bricklayer... up you'd look Bricklaying firms in your region :) no-one really wants to employ an apprentice these days... tried for a year and a half.. just went back to a-levels...

so i should go to the job center and see what they say? i have been to the career advice thingy at college and they was no help what so ever, all they wanted me to do is go to uni, pretty annoying

The way i did it was i sat on the computer all day writing out letters and emails to every company i new of that would take me on as an apprentice and sent them all off! Cost me loads in stamps mind!
Got loads replies and jus found the best one for me and now im a fully qualified mechanic!!
Silly thing is after all that i work for my dad in our family run garage!!

Dont do job centres, do it ureself

i shall try that approach i think, hopefully if i apply here in notts and lincs there might be a bit of luck, iv heard accountancy is a hard one to get into!
also what sort of stuff did u put in the letters?

It was four years ago now so its hard to remember, but youve just gotta really big yourself up, sell yourself to them. But also make out your seriously willing to learn an listen!
Tbh, if there after an apprentcie they will take you on, just remember the letter has to be the best, most precice thing you ever write as its the first thing that will tell them if your worth inviting in for an interview!!!

Thats k darlin, i'll start chargin ya for this lol!! JOKE!!
Yeh i was never one for writing letters either but u only gotta do it once! They sorted my college out for me with a company they call your managing agents. Its easy enuf to do yourself tho if you have to but i would push for them to get someone to sort it out for you as they pay all your fees!!!!!

i have wrote a letter :s not sure if ita any good lol got my mate to read it then sent 8 copies out to diff firms along with my cv... hopefully i should get some luck. but need to send some to firms in nottingham :)x
