For those of you who arent aware, there's a new "safer" Internet Explorer. It can be downloaded from the Microsoft website or by clicking here. (http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ie/downloads/default.mspx)

Bless Microsoft, they are trying. They've said that they will probably support most standards in IE8, but not IE7.
IE7RC1 is not the finished product so bear that in mind if you choose to use it.

I'm finding it a little "annoying" to say the least. Hehe! But I'm sure I'll get used to it.

Only bad thing bout firefox is having to install plugins and the likeThat's the whole point - you only install what you need rather than it coming with loads of stuff that you'll never use.

Windows Vista is going to be riddled with just as many holes as all the other microsoft products. Not only that and to get it to run to its proper potential your going to need a decent processor at least 1 gb of ram and a handy graphics card for the interface and thats just to run the OS never mind anything else.
Microsoft suck ass: http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/technology/5377802.stm
COULD get an early patch?!?!?! a known exploitable hole and it just MIGHT get a patch! the company is an absolute joke

thats a mac?!That's the point - it's sarchasm. The audio is from one of the recent Microsoft events showcasing Vista, the video is of a Mac.
Many of the new features that Microsoft have invented for Vista have been around on Macs for years.
Perhaps I'm too obtuse sometimes...

i've run a beta release of vista on a 2.2GHz celeron with 512mb ram. It ran ok ish but sluggish in places. Seems you'll need a bit of beast to get the best from it. Dualcore, 2Gb RAM at least
