like that one how high is the falsh floor?

broughton_87
25th September 2006, 23:38
The false floor was made out of 12mm mdf

liam_b
25th September 2006, 23:44
so it aint raised at all other than the thickness of the mdf did you make the the sub boxes your self or did u just buy them then recarpet them

broughton_87
25th September 2006, 23:53
Yes it just the thickness of the MDF, made it all myself mate, Normal sub boxes would'nt have the angle of the back seats, plus alot cheaper doing it myself, all the wood used for that cost me £5, and still had loads left.

liam_b
26th September 2006, 00:26
so i take it the boxes arnt the correct size/volume for the subs or did you calculate that when you made them

broughton_87
26th September 2006, 17:41
No the boxes arnt the correct volume, easily done but would have been too big.

Yes its covereted in vinyl leatherette, it was fairly easy to cover, jus sprayed on spray adhesive, streched it thn used a compressor and staple gun to secure it, alot easyier than a manual staple gun which starts hurting your hand after you have put about 10 staples through lol

Brilliant Cheers Mate Might Be The Best Option On Install :d
