Just passed!

Hi all,

Just like to say that i've just passed my test today (with 13 minors!, very close i know), and can now properly drive my beloved saxo vtr.

i will get try and get some photos up of it for you all to ogle at.

just like to say excellent site, lots of usefull info on here.

Still in shock really that i passed, feels a bit naughty when i go out in the VTR, almost like i shouldn't be out in it. guess i will just have to get use to it.

The worst thing was we pulled up at the test center, and he goes

"was that your first test"

I say "yes"

he goes "i could tell, you are very close....."

At this point i thought well thats it, ive failed.

Then he goes "i'm pleased to tell you. you have passed"

i could have kissed him!. i even asked him if he was joking lol.

As to why im not out in it now?. i have to go to work and i have a full day off tomorow to go and get used to it.

I learned in a 206 GTI/HDI (1.4 diesel) and my saxo is very different to this, it feels so much lighter and responsive. need to get used to it. specially the gearbox

Welldone mate, i only passed like 4 weeks ago, best feeling ever and i got 7 minors and hit the curb doing turn in the road. Hahaha lucky i know
