Get like 2-3 month insurance??

The thing is im going to uni next year and will not be taking the saxo as i wont have the cash to run it ( :drink: ) so what i will do is sell it next september and get myself a few nice things for uni like a laptop etc and keep say £200 a side for an old banger when i get home for the summer! Now the thing i want to know is can i buy 3 months insuance for when im home over summer? The car will be something like a 1.1 n reg nova haha something to get me around. I will be 19 with 2 years NCB hopefully .. so is it possible, sorry for the waffle

Just take a years policy out over 12 montly payments use it for x amount of months then cancel.

They will either bill you the rest you owe or back pay you what you have been owed.

You could go to a company like "budget" where they do individual monthly policies....

Personally, I would take out the years and just declare when the car is not in use when the 12 months are up..........Just make sure you keep at least third party though whilst you are away, as this might be a good idea incase it gets niked, etc...

The point is i wont have the cash to do that mate, i just want 2 month insurance, IE £200 for 2 months or something

try ecarinsurance, they have a pay as you scheme
