I found the sub i want and it doesnt come with wires, furio al has it, must point out hes been dead helpful, cheers for that, and i wondered if these wires....http://www.caraudiodirect.co.uk/product_info.php?products_id=205&cadid=9c011607dd06172da37b72bb0a5d0c6c .......would do the job? cheers if so im getsin ma sub tooonight!:afro: :gives:

are you planning on upgrading your system later on? what rms wattage is amp? or what size fuse does the amp use?
might be better of getting this kit to start with

sorry its not so much im impatient, as my dads goin to amsterdam tomorrow and therefore i cant buy it until saturday otherwise. Im definately a noob so dumbing stuff down for me is great, cause i dont know what you just said lol sorry :(. cheers for the info too, I see theyre different, maybe i should just buy a set cause otherwise i dont know what im doing]

No mate, that wiring kit isn't good enough... it tells you that that wiring kit is designed to run at 300W and the sub and amp package runs at 400W...
Im running 4 guage cables, i know they are probably larger than i needed but they were the only one's available in the shop at the time...

An 8 guage cable would surfice... follows YM03's link above to find an 8guage wiring kit..

I wish companys would not advertise wiring kits in watts ratings as they mean fuck all most of the time.
