Did an insurance quote via phone with Quinn Direct.

I said the car was an Escort Rs turbo, he gave me a price for it standard (about 2/300 more than they quoted me on confused.com hmm)

Anyway I said what about mods? he said he cant quote me for them I need a something or over ( i forget).

So does that mean i have to buy the car I want then take it a garage for this mod list thingy and just hope the insurance isnt too much? wtf? I sort of hoped u could list the mods urself and get a price.

Cheers

Gonna be mostly all Irish, it's an Irish company. And they're usually good with mods, doesn't usually bump it up all that much.

You maybe thinking of insurance company Quote-A-Car matey.

They were great with me. For a VTS.....19, 1yrs NCB, £1495 FC with excess of £350, and gave me 12 months breakdown cover also.

Tried getting quote with my current insurance (at the time) Quinn, they said they couldnt insure me because of my age.

Quinn turned out great for my furio though, my renewal was £595 FC from £1300 FC

quinn direct dont charge for visual (sort of) mods.... basically performance mods they are bothered about.

i had to get my mechanic to sign something for them to insure me with it being lowered. but it didnt add anything onto my premimum
