Noticed driving into work this morning that my steering felt a bit light when turning left and the car felt a little un-easy.....
Stopped.....Checked front tyres....1 is fine and the other is lacking tread...I think just below legal limit.
Ordered 2 new tyres (got good offer) will be delivered Tuesday of next week....I need to drive tonight to see my old man for a meal......got to do about 90 mille trip......
Should I risk it and just be a little cautious? Or cancel the meet with my old man?

With me having a new born baby something i do weekly is check my tyre pressure, check for wear, its not worth it for the safety aspect, also i've only been passed since november last year, i cant risk having any points yet (not got 1 point yet), but after 6 in first two years its bye bye license, just make it a habbit u check tyre pressure and treads everyweek, keeping your tyres at correct pressure can give u an extra 5-10mpg!
So its worth it for that!

sounds gay and u wont like it but do 60 all the way, dont brake and try not to go over stones fast as itl tear the tyre easier,
my tyres looked ok, driving along doing 70, i heard a looooud clappin from inside wheel arch crapped me self though me brakes were hangnin off so didnt dare brake properly, anyways from the inside tyre wall about 10inch long strip of the wheel was hanging off, so i cut it off and still managed about another 100m carefully with no problems, as long as u dont heat ur tyre to much by harsh brain or going over gravel the tyre shouldnt rip so take it easy lad

I stick to 60 anyways.......
The tyre is not that bad....just below the limit....so the roads are dry aswell and its all decent roads there so should be ok....

switch the wheels arround, i.e. put the back ones on the front, your back ones should be evenly worn so not steering trouble and less stress on the back from normal driving so less to worry about
