was the sunroof on the saxo purposely designed to collect as much water as it can???

I'm coming out the gym on wednesday, it's been raining whilst the car's sat still. i get in the car, drivers window down as I'm hot & misting up the windscreen, take a sharp left and splash - loadsa cold water over my right arm and leg. bit of a shock. :fcuk:

come out the gym this eve, it's been raining, but forget to remember last time... window down, splash! :fcuk:

the crappiness of the sunroof made me laugh when I was buying the car (the rattly winder, hardly quality!)... now reckon car's been getting its own back on me.

I didn't say it was a big deal matt. but if you've just rowed for 30 minutes you're gonna be a bit hot & as I say it steams the car up so I needed the window open. I get the impression from your posts that you like to try and needle people (weisenheimer is the right word I think) - I suppose there isn't too much to do then there in Berlin?

I travelled to Deutschland a few years ago - got to know quite well a couple of cities, Hof in northern Bayern and Plauen in Sachsen. Loads of lads there had big rear window stickers in their cars - beer ones if I remember right. I'm guessing then your saxo is sporting a big ad for a brewery then?

you want to explain why?

easy to say that on the internet - like to see you try and say it to my face.

that bit about the beer ad was not intended to be offensive, but you're probably too stupid to realise that. it was something i saw and i actually thought it looked quite good at the time.

I was in fact just making a joke and trying to be friendly. don't think i'll bother then from now on.

The same kind of thing happened to me today but in my xr2. I opened the door to get in after it had rained and the water sitting in the gutter above the door all came in the car. Really annoying but i just shut the door and no more water. Remember aswell, you do have a cold air blower

alright, no probs - we both read each other wrong. here in lpool at least 'twat' can be a strong word to use (you're calling someone a female sex organ after all... how else can I put that without sounding daft?!!) so I took it the wrong way. we both got our wires crossed.

if I did sound pretentious that was an accident - I thought Matt was German as his location is Berlin!

yeah, you're right. next time I'll do a few donuts in the carpark to throw the puddle off my sunroof then open the window. Germany is great - out the cities there were country roads that went for miles and miles without any traffic lights... you could actually drive fast and get to your destination quicker unlike the roads where I live which are an almost permanent traffic jam. Plus the beer was so damn good... which is why your nominal john smiths sticker made me laugh, you don't get bitter over there.
