Urgent Please Help!!!

Hi guys, im going to see a few cars today and am finally gonna buy a VTR.

Im slightly worried about wasting my 3000 tho as i know shit all about cars!

Can anyone give me a list of what to look out for/avoid and explain to me how to check it etc lol, and what are the common problems for saxos that i shoud look for?

check oil cap for gunk.
ask to see all the documents he has on tyhe car.
if they say its had a new part fitted ask them to show you the recipt.
if from a garage ask for a hpi report

chips in window
milage coresponds to mot. if done not so long back it shouldent have have to many extra miles on.

same as above make sure you go for a test drive to make sure every thing seems ok. when the car is driving dont be scared to test the car. ie drive it how you will be driving it.
