Right.. having been slagged off about the sony head unit, and my 6x9's this is the system i am buying over the next few weeks:

JBL GTO507c : £60 fronts
not sure what sub
Blaupunkt Sevilla MP54 : £80 HU
JBL GTO75.4: £100 amp

just thought id let you all know that i am now officially selling my 6x9's, any offers

before i go out and buy any of this, does any one have any past bad experiences e.t.c?

EDIT: any idea's on where i could put this kit securly since i live in quite a rough area.

Theres not much you can do to secure it. Just dont tell anyone (even close friends and family) what you have in the car and dont play it loud within a couple of miles of anywhere you might ever park.

Try building a false floor if you have not already thought about doing that, atleast that will hide your amp. Not much you can do about your sub other than secure it down to the floor.

If you can not completely disguise an item, atleast make it more difficult and time consuming to get out the car, that way there is more time for a theif to get interupted.
