i have the dark grey tsw catalunyas with the polished lip. i can wash the car and alloys but the next day there is all the crap on the lip at the bottom of the wheel. what polish or wheel cleaner could i use to stop this from happening or so they stop cleaner that little bit longer. i have the meguairs metal polish stuff but it dont seem to do much apart from make them shine a bit more.

Try some Poorboys wheel sealant from Polished Bliss, never used it, but i would imagine it would do the trick.
(ps. make sure you use a wheel cleaner first though).

are you using some tyre shine??
if you are then it will run if your alloys are wet which could be the cause

Jeffs Werkstatt Prime Strong to deep clean and seal, followed by a couple of coats of Poorboy's Wheel Sealant. This should keep them looking good for much longer. I'd use the Prime Strong once every 6-8 weeks, and add another coat of Wheel Sealant every 3-4 weeks. I'm putting together some wheel care kits this week, so if you hang on there will be some savings to be had later in the week. :)

just an extra bit of advice to anyone with polished lips on their alloys, DONT use a wheel cleaner unless its a non-acidic one, or they will mark your alloys.
I have Polished lips on the alloys on my leon and i clay them every month and keep them topped up with the Poorboys Wheel Sealant to stop them tarnashing etc :)
