Whats the best way to go about doing this, just wanna tidy it up a bit and paint the rocker cover and msainfold cover. whats the best way to clean and sand it first?

Wen I paid for a steam clean they basically used a spray of suds and then used a power waasher while the engine was hot you could probably do this as long as you protect the electrics

go to the polished bliss website.
Click guides
Click Engine
This will give you a step by step guide of how to clean it.
Then to do the rocker cover, sand it prime it spray it. But pretty sure you will need heat resistant paint.

dont need heat resistant paint for your rocker cover!
done mine 6 month ago and its still perfect!
if you want to do your manifold heat shield then you would use heat resistant paint.

a crappy flappy plastic 1, if your sprayin it with a hose id cover undeneath the cover too
