You know how people tint their rear lights......can the same method be used to create a sun strip??

Just wondering, don't know why so don't ask.
It'd match the colour of the car exactly and wouldn't peel off.

Would you be running a risk tho, like if it was too deep and ol'bill wanted you to remove it - Whole new windscreen.

you could probably do it but i think it would come off fairly quickly. There would be a possibility off it being rubbed by the wipers and when u clean the window if there was a bit of grit or sand or dirt on the sponge it would stractch / weaken the paint and if would start to flake of quickly. However there is only one way to find out. Either do it or find some who has done it.

As for getting it off i'd imagine a good blast with a power washer for a while would do the trick smileys/smiley17.gif smileys/smiley17.gif

the windscreen on the front is very smooth. to get paint to stick, you need to roughen up the area.

This is why you can tint plastic rear lights.

it would just rub off if you you did this on your front windscreen.
