Spare wheel carrier?

I'm ditching the spare wheel carrier which will leave a nice hole in my boot.

What's the best method of blocking this up?

I reckon a rubber grommet will do it mate, will keep it watertight aswell.

yeah a rubber grommit then i would use a lilttle bit of silicon round it just to keep it in place and water out

ive got a rubber grommet in mine with no silicone etc whatsoever,has stayed there the last 6 months fine

no there from a lamp you need to rub it and ask for the gromit genie

i just bolted a big arse bolt in just like the spairwheel cage had in already i couldnt be arsed going into town to buy a gromit
