Scratch....

Hi erm well i am posting on behalf of the mother! She recently bought a new VW polo with golf gti alloys (its really nice!) however a cat recently scratch the bonnet i was wondering the best polishes and products to try and remove or better the scratch. Quick replies would be great as could get to shops to get polish and give it a nice wash:)

you really need a porter cable polisher which you can only get from america
and cost about £100

but a cheap option you could try t cut

it also depends how deep the scratch is if its deap only way is to respray

its not very deep tried t cut but it's not v good and after researching on here it doesn't seem to be much of a favourite either

without the polisher i mentioned its going to be ahrd to get it out

A lot depends on how bad the scratch is, and it's not always easy to tell. If I were you I would consider using Menzerna Power Gloss by hand using the white side of a German Pad, followed by Menzerna Final Polish II over the whole panel again using the white side of a German Pad (if you have swirls over the whole panel then swap the Final Polish II for Menzerna Intensive Polish). If you post some decent pictures I may be able to confirm more whether the above will work fully or not. :)
