sound the same....ok,so one album has no orchestra.then they do a whole album with an orchestra.There enw album is waaaay different to say kill em all agarage inc load/reload well basically the rest. They do not sound by far the same as they used to(sadly)

cant really say all metallica songs sound the same. there writing is majorly different on every album. and St. Anger is way different. St. Anger is a good album but never lived up to the hype and well it wasnt as good as what metallica can and have produced

Some of metallica's stuff is ok - i absolutely looove Nothing Else Matters (great to play on geetar) but some of it is a bit too metal for me...Going back to the "rock vs metal" debate, i prefer their more "rock" stuff. Not a huuuge fan though...

Random anecdote for you...my mum once accidentally ended up in their dressing room, guitars, cigs, and smelly socks everywhere!

Bit random question coming up now but, im running out of cd wallet space, and just wondering how do i copy my cds and format them to mp3 so can fit all the albums onto one disc,

Take all metallicas albums for example.

Open them in windows media player or a similar program and then rip them off the disc.

Then open the burning program you use and make a data cd.

THen drop all the folders of the songs you want over and burn.

THat will work in mp3 headunits and that!
