Well it looks like the views are the same as open induction as opposed to enclosed? as in PI are not the best kit..BUT they are good enough.. Am i rite?
Im just after styling really, as long as getting PI kit wont mean added maintenance cost but a 45mm drop shouldn't cause problems??

£120 is to lower the car (front and back). Lowering springs/suspension kits are obviously on top of that.

The place near me is in Hartley Wintney, Hampshire. Not a million miles from you as you're in Kent. Where in Kent are you from?

I've just had a look on one website and they're selling those 45mm lowering springs for around £50 so R-Tec are charging you £180 to lower your car which I think is too much. You shouldn't expect to pay anymore than £150 really.

You'd pay around £170 in total if you were to have the car lowered at the place near me.

Many parts are put under more strain when lowering a car... It's very unlikely you'll have any major problems with the driveshaft.

well when i took it there first it was lowered 60 mm, i said to them can i get 17" on wen it was this low, they said not a problem, will cost a little more though. fine i thought i dont mind, after 3 hrs of waiting they came out and said they cant do it and i need to buy new springs, so more money.
4 hrs later it came out, really high and the arches were not connected to the body work propaly, they were coming away from the wing, i asked why and they had snapped the clips and didn't have any to replace them. They said come down in a week and we will replace it. I got home and inspected my vehicle some more, they didn't move the water bottle forward or put a plate around the fuel neck like they are supposed to and worst of all they snapped the bracket that held the side skirt on. There was sharpe metal edges showing which i had to flatten back myself, it pissed me off totally.

Just my experiance there put me off them for life. They never fixed the arches or compensated me for the crap work
