"What users’ aims in visiting the site would be including the advantages to users?"Is that the question? Makes no sense to me, unless I'm mis-reading it somehow?

I know its one of the worst written assingments I have ever got i think!
□ 1. A discussion of the different types of internet connection [P2].
□ 2. What users’ aims in visiting the site would be (including the advantages to users [P3]).
□ 3. An evaluation, in detail, of the effect of the download time of large sites on the accessibility of the site [D2].
□ 4. You will also need to discuss when and why technologies such as ASP, JavaScript, Java Applets, XML, etc may be required [M2].
Thats all it consists of!
With a quick breif but its pointless genral crap, produce a leaflet with info on the following...

I understand it to be asking, what are the reasons that a visitor would visit a site. The "including the advantages" bit seems a bit stupid because you're hardly likely to visit a site by choice if it causes you a disadvantage.
Aims could be to:
obtain information
communicate
check account details
etc...
The aims would be present whether there was a web site or not. Advantages is why would they use the web site over any other method. I'd check my balance online because I could do it from home rather than having to travel into town to visit the local branch. I'd order shopping online for the same reasons.
That's how I understand it...

I can only see 4 reasons why people would look at site:
For Information
Out of Intrest
For Entertainment
Or just boredem
The content of the site would be the factor to why the user visits
